Lucinda van Rensburg
Managing Director
BLC, LLB, DIP IR, LLM (LL), LLM (Gen):
Lucinda obtained her BLC and LLB degrees from the University of Pretoria. She also holds a Diploma in Industrial Relations (cum laude) and a Master’s degree in Labour Law (UP). Lucinda also received a Master’s degree (LLM) General (cum laude), focusing on National and International Environmental Law, Specific Contracts and Constitutional Law.
Lucinda was an admitted attorney, conveyancer and notary of the Supreme Court. Her work experience includes four years in private practice and four years in the corporate industry acting as Legal Advisor for a major medical information technology corporate.
She is a member of the Professional Speaker’s Association of South Africa and an accredited assessor and a member of the Environmental Law Association.
Lucinda worked as Technical Manager: Legal Services, at NOSA for four years, before she founded Implex Legal Compliance Solutions in 2005 together with Robert Steyn and Chan Naidoo. At Implex she is responsible for developing strategic and tailored legal compliance solutions for a diverse sector of clients, on national and global level. Lucinda manages and facilitates training and training development at Implex and is regularly invited to speak at public conferences, seminars and events on issues relating to safety, health, and environmental, labour and related law.

Tasneem Khan

Tasneem obtained an LLB degree from the University of Potchefstroom in 2001, and finishing her Articles of Clerkship in 2004, Tasneem joined NOSA as a legal consultant and was involved in safety, health and environmental legal compliance audits, legal registers and training.
As Professional Assistant she then joined Cameron Cross Attorneys. Her portfolio included various issues pertaining to environmental, health and safety law, including auditing, opinion writing and litigation for clients predominantly in the industrial and mining sectors.
Tasneem joined Implex in 2006; her responsibilities include legal compliance consulting, training and auditing. Tasneem also heads the legal register department and associated services. She is a member of the Environmental Law Association of South Africa, and is an accredited assessor.
Bridget Hughes
HDE: Consulting Manager
Masters Environmental Management
Bridget brings extensive experience in environmental research, auditing, and safety, health, and environmental (SH&E) consulting. Her work has spanned South and southern Africa, Australia, and South America. She has served as a project manager, leading the successful implementation of various management systems both nationally and internationally. Additionally, Bridget is an active member of the Environmental Law Association of South Africa.
Her core expertise lies in managing and participating in SH&E system development and implementation in line with internationally recognised management standards. Bridget also specialises in planning, developing, and implementing integrated management systems. Furthermore, she is skilled in developing and facilitating customised SH&E and risk management training and awareness programmes. Bridget is currently completing an Advanced Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety through Edith Cowan University in Perth, Australia.
Since joining Implex in 2008, Bridget’s responsibilities have included legal compliance and management system consulting, training, auditing, and management system development and implementation, both nationally and internationally.
Lebo Sedupane
Credit Controller & Office Administrator
Lebo joined Implex in October 2009, where she is responsible for office administration, credit control and debt collection, switchboard and reception, management assistance, and administrative support in training.
Lebo previously worked at Vericred Bureau and Vodacom Service Park before joining the Implex team. She obtained her Diploma in Business Management and Administration in 2010, and her National Diploma in Technical Financial Accounting in 2015.
Lobry J v Rensburg
Senior Legal Consultant

Lobry obtained his BLC and LLB degrees from the University of Pretoria. He was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa in 1994 and as a conveyancer in 1997. His work experience includes being the manager of the Legal Department for a large micro loans company (4 years), a professional associate at Versveld Nkosi Inc. as well as at Grutter and Lombard Attorneys, and serving as director of Le Grange & van Rensburg Inc. and director of Roets & van Rensburg Inc. (11 years).
In his law practice, he gained experience across a wide range of legal disciplines, primarily focusing on labour litigation and commercial law. He advised and represented a broad corporate clientele in labour and commercial matters.
Lobry initially joined Implex as an external legal expert on a part-time basis in August 2011 and transitioned to full-time in February 2012. His responsibilities include legal compliance consulting, training, auditing, system implementation, and development. He successfully completed the course “Implementing an Environmental Management System” at NQF level 6 presented by North-West University. He is also an accredited Assessor and Moderator.
Marlize de Jager

Marlize obtained her B.Proc degree (cum laude) from the University of Pretoria in 1997. She completed her articles of clerkship at Lombard, Muller & Partners in Pretoria. Marlize was admitted as an attorney and conveyancer of the Supreme Court in 2000 and as a notary in 2004.
She worked as a conveyancer at Savage Jooste & Adams Attorneys, then at Coetzer de Beer Attorneys, and later at Tim du Toit Attorneys before joining Implex in 2009. Marlize is an accredited Assessor (NQF Level 5) and Moderator (NQF Level 6).
At Implex, her responsibilities include managing the Legal Register, maintaining the legislative database, compiling and circulating newsletters, and writing legal opinions.
Bernadine Pienaar

Brian Mphahlele
IT Specialist
Assessor (NQF Level 5), Moderator (NQF Level 6)
Brian joined Implex in May 2013, where he manages all Information Technology requirements for the company. This includes the installation of and training on legal registers, providing first-level support for legal registers, hosting solutions for client legal registers, new product development, and managing Implex’s internal computer and network requirements.
Brian is currently completing his BSc in Information Systems at the University of South Africa.
